Before Adam sinned, he was in right standing with God. He walked with God and fellowshipped with him (A). He named the creatures of the earth and tended God’s Garden (B). There weren’t any thorns or thistles or anything to burden him (C).
When Adam sinned, he broke the fellowship that he had with God. Not only did he separate himself from God, but he separated all of man from God and brought all his descendants under sin (D).
When we were born into this world, we were born under sin (E). Just as there was nothing that we did to put ourselves there, even though all men have sinned, there is no work of our own that we can perform to get ourselves back into right standing. For by Grace you are saved (F).
The good news is that God provided a way through his perfect and obedient Son to bring all men back into fellowship with Him. All that is required is that they believe on the name of the Son of God and receive Him as their Lord (G).
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive (D). Jesus died for the sins of the whole world (H). When He was crucified on the cross, God nailed all of our sin to the cross with Jesus (I). For he who knew no sin became sin for us. He took our place on the cross that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (J).
God raised Jesus from the dead in a proclamation of His righteousness (K). He went to the Father so that we can come to the Father though Him. Jesus sacrifice was once and for all (L) bringing man back to the right standing that Adam had with God and into a covenant in which He would never leave us or forsake us (L). (over for verses, exp.
