God is Our Provider

Summer time in Alaska is such a busy time. With so much sunlight, all we want to do is play outside, long after our bedtime. So many of us are busy running around the State getting fish, moose, caribou, and bear for the freezer, berries for jams and jellies, weeding the garden for fresh veggies, and so much more. I love that in all this abundance, we are constantly reminded that God is our Provider, the One Who fulfills every need. It is far too easy in our short Alaskan summers to stress about getting everything done and the freezer and pantry full. We just need to keep that reminder in front of us - He has already seen and provided for our every need. All we need to do is thank Him for it and reap the harvest.
"Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:18-19
