God's Goodness

By Brian Endle |  December 1, 2016

The more we understand the goodness of God, the more we desire to be like Him and follow Him where He would lead us.  We know, for instance,  that he leads us in paths of righteousness in the midst of paths of justice so that He can bless us according to Proverbs 23 and 8:20.  If we miss it, we know that he corrects us and says “This is the way, walk ye in it”, according to Isaiah 30:21.

I’ve seen the goodness of God in my life and recognized that following Him is rewarding. God loves me.  He wishes above all things that I would prosper and be in good health.  I believe that “in all things” means that He wants to prosper every step that I take.

Recently, I needed to get the electric hooked up for a building project.  God was instructing me to do other things, even when the temperatures at my house were below freezing.  I’m glad I followed Him. Temperatures had warmed for a moment and I was able to accomplish many other things before I left for vacation on November 7 by listening to Him.

I desire to see God’s Glory on a daily basis just like Moses did.  God promises us that He will manifest Himself to us if we follow His commandments.  In John 14:21 when He says “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.”

God is good and He wants to Bless us in each step by helping us navigate through this world that is full of trouble.
